Architecture Styles in Toronto city
63The amazing thing in Toronto is that embraces a large variety of architectural styles and doesn't follow only one dominant. I have mentioned in my previous article that it is a diverse city and now I would like to add that this diversity is reflected in the architecture.
At first sight, Toronto may seem dull and lacking aesthitics but this is not the case. Every corner has its own style. You can check toronto mls listings and see on yourself that all the neighbourhoods differ from each other.
My favourite is the Annex, which is actually a whole neighbourhood in downtown Toronto and has formed a unique style. It still remains one of Toronto's premier neighbourhoods. It is mainly residential, with quiet, tree lined one-way streets lined
with beautiful Victorian and Edwardian homes and mansions, most of them
built between 1880 and the early 1900s.
The Annex is very affluent with well-educated residents. It borders the University of Toronto and has traditionally been home to many of the university's faculty, as well as housing the university's student body. Admiral road in the Annex is home to the Canadian writer Margaret Atwood.
